As a United States Air Force Veteran, I’m a true believer in being true to myself, and I bring that same energy into every story I document, especially for couples choosing Acadia National Park. When I am not in front of the camera? You’ll probably find me making coffee syrups at home, exploring Acadia trails with my family, baking something new just for fun, or traveling to new places! If you are dreaming of an Acadia Elopement, but have no idea where to begin, I got you. I will guide you in a way that feels easy and exciting, so you can relax and just enjoy the adventure!

I’m here to make it feel simple.

Planning an elopement can feel overwhelming.

 (I am even ordained!)

As a local, I know Acadia National Park inside and out and can guide you every step of the way. Throughout the process, you will receive questionnaires tailored to your location and values to help me build you an EPIC day without having to be a local expert yourself.

I am not just your photographer, I am your guide to saying “I do” completely stress-free!

Julia & Ryan

"Christina took the stress from our planning and made it feel like we were just showing up ready to get married. She walked us through every step and was super attentive and responsive to anything we might have needed."

I guide couples through natural movement, simple prompts, and using the environment around us so you’re never left wondering what to do.

My goal is simple: create an experience that feels relaxed, meaningful, and true to who you are.

Most couples tell me on our first call that they feel awkward in front of the camera, and honestly, that’s completely normal. A big part of my job is helping you feel comfortable so nothing ever feels forced or overly posed.

No two love stories are the same, and your elopement shouldn't feel like anyone else's. Whether your plans are simple or adventurous, we'll create an experience that feels authentically yours from beginning to end.

CELEBRATING YOUR STORY

(04)

The best photographs happen when you're focused on each other, not the camera. I'll gently guide you when needed while giving you plenty of space to laugh, breathe, explore, and experience your day naturally.

CREATING GENUINE CONNECTION

(03)

The mountains, the coastline, and the forests are part of your story, too. We'll do our part to keep them beautiful by following Leave No Trace principles and leaving these places just as beautiful as we found them.

LEAVING NO TRACE

(02)

From the first email to your final gallery, my goal is to create an experience that feels calm, intentional, and completely centered around the two of you. You deserve to be fully present on your wedding day.

Core Values

you may be wondering...

Where can we get married in Acadia National park?

Where you can get married in Acadia depends on the amount of guests you have and the time
of year. I will walk you through every step of the process and send you customized location
recommendations based on our chats and questionnaires throughout the process. You give me the vibes and season, I will give you the locations that truly speak to your day.

What does an elopement day look like in Acadia National park?

Elopement days in Acadia look extremely different depending on the season, activities,
ceremony location and hours booked. (insert gallery links for ex to a full day, and half day
elopement!, I will work on a sample gallery or two to include for this but for now you can just
include a photo slider or button to a pictime gallery, either one is fine!!)

Do I need a photographer who specializes in Acadia?

You 10000000% need a photographer who specializes in the park not only to understand the park and all of the hidden gems, but to understand the weather patterns and build your
elopement day into something that is stress-free and the least “touristy” feeling. Acadia can
throw some crazy weather and it is super important to have someone on your side who can pivot like nothing ever happened!

How do I get married in Acadia national park?

Planning your wedding feels stressful, especially if you have never been to Acadia before. Check out my ultimate guide on how to get married in Acadia!

What is the best season to get married in the park?

This truly depends on you as a couple and what speaks the most to you. Summer & Fall are themost popular times due to better weather, but in my local and personal opinion you should get married in the season you love most. If you love to be out and about in the winter and want to experience the park when there is not many tourists, then do it! There is no right way to do your wedding here in the park!

How to find a location for our ceremony in Acadia?

As your ultimate planner and elopement photographer, I will walk you step by step through our planning calls and questionnaires to reach your dream spot! You can leave all of the location scouting to me and enjoy getting to choose by looking at photos of the spot on your customized location recommendations!

what does documentary style photography look like?

A documentary style photographer is someone who truly captures your day exactly how it was so you can flip through your album in 25 years and smile at the memories that were made. There are no inauthentic moments that wont feel like you. I am documentary style, but will never leave you feeling awkward and uncomfortable. I will prompt you in a way that feels natural and easy when needed, and sit back and capture when moments happen naturally!

Do you help us plan our timeline?

Yes! I build custom timelines that are different for every single couple. Every single Acadia wedding looks different and it is really important to have a photographer who knows your vision and can bring that to life through a relaxed timeline!

How do we find other Bar Harbor vendors?

Once you book, I will provide a list of vendors in the area that are amazing people to work with and be here to answer any questions you may have throughout the entire process!

Do we need a permit to get married in Acadia national park?

If you plan on getting married in the park and have over 10 people in your party (including your photographer, officiant and yourselves) you will need to purchase a permit, but don’t worry I will walk you through every single step!

Can we bring guests?

Yes! There are some ceremony locations in Acadia that allow up to 50 guests!

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

While I understand rain can be extremely overwhelming, here in Acadia we embrace the heck out of rain because it calls for the coolest skies and best fog!! That said if you are not a fan of rain on your wedding day, I offer rainy day coverage as an add on which gives you a whole extra day on my calendar just in case!

How can we book with you?

Once you've reached out, we'll hop on a quick call to talk about your vision. After that, I'll send over your proposal with your contract and retainer invoice. Once those are completed, your date is officially reserved, and the fun planning begins!!
